
This is our second monthly installment of BostInno Departed, our way of tracking Boston-area startups that are no longer independent or no longer exist. For March, there weren’t as many startups getting acquired as the previous month, but the total deal amount was likely bigger, thanks mostly to Veracode’s $614 million sale to CA Technologies.
Last month saw the shutdown of one Boston startup we had previously covered, Date My Wardrobe, which provided a rental marketplace for women looking to rent outfits from local fashion designers. The startup, as we noted in a story last year, took an asset-light approach to what was being done by Rent the Runway, which runs its own warehouses and supply chains.
