James Pellecchia

Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting

James F. Pellecchia, CPA, brings more than 25 years of accounting experience, as well 11 years of biotechnology accounting leadership experience, with deep expertise in SEC reporting, SOX 404 compliance, technical accounting, audit leadership, and public-company readiness. James has held senior finance roles at Neurogene Inc. and Ayala Pharmaceuticals, where he led accounting operations, supported public-company reporting requirements, managed Big 4 audits, and built scalable accounting processes and teams. His experience includes preparing and overseeing SEC filings, developing internal control frameworks, implementing finance systems, and advising executive leadership on financial reporting, capital markets diligence, and liquidity planning. Earlier in his career, James worked at Brio Financial Group as a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and spent nearly a decade in public accounting leading audit and SOX engagements. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University.
