About Brian M. Speck

Brian M. Speck works with both our public and private company clients and has over fifteen years of experience in accounting including eleven years in public accounting. In serving the accounting and tax needs of individuals, small to medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations he has developed a specialty in Special Purpose Acquisition Company (“SPACS”) transactions.

Brian serves as the firm’s Director of Financial Reporting in support of both our public and private clients. In this capacity, he consults various private and public companies in financial reporting, internal control development and evaluation, budgeting and forecasting. Mr. Speck represents companies in various industries: Technology/Internet, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Food and Beverage, Bio-technology, Software, Medical Device, Entertainment, Hedge Funds and Insurance.

Brian has over fifteen years of experience in accounting including eleven years in public accounting. Much of his career has involved serving the accounting and tax needs of individuals, small to medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations

Prior to joining Brio, Mr. Speck was an audit supervisor at Wiss & Company (“Wiss”). Within that capacity, he played a vital role in the Accounting and Tax practice with industry focuses in manufacturing, wholesalers, construction contractors, and professional service firms. In addition Mr. Speck performed audit and attestation services for non-profit organizations.
